One summer.
One chance to forget the past.
One opportunity to make things right.
There’s no denying the heat between Jules Taylor and Foster Sutton. They are two wild souls with a fire burning inside. Together, they create a hot and dangerous mix of emotion and lust.
But after a terrible accident leaves one friend dead, Foster is bound by a secret that keeps him from getting closer to Jules. And he’s left with only one thing to offer her – friendship.
For Jules, her relationship with Foster is getting old. He falls down and she picks him up, but they never move forward. Their occasional hook-ups are no longer enough, and Jules vows that this is her summer to forget Foster and find love. If it were only that easy.
It seems fate is pushing Jules and Foster together at every turn. And it’s only a matter of time before they give up and give in.
MORE is the highly anticipated companion story to BEFORE YOU GO. It can also be read as a stand-alone book.

"I know there's still something good in there Jenna. The girl I used to know...And I want you to know, if she's ever interested in talking I'm here" Then walk away feeling better than I've felt in so long.
Like I said More was everything I was hoping it would be. It was a story about accepting, about moving on and letting go of a past that you cannot change. It's about self-growth and shows that actions have reactions and harsh consequences, but that we do have the power to change the outcome of our futures if we try hard enough...for the right reasons, or in some cases the right person. Clare James is truly a talented author, she has captivated me yet again with her flawless writing style, her lovable complex characters and gripping story lines, I look forward to seeing what her talented creative mind will conjure up for us next!

Perfect, perfect, perfect! More was everything I was hoping it would be. It takes us into the world of Foster Sutton and Jules Taylor and lets us see where the friendship began, how a young love blossomed and then just as soon withered under a heap of regret and buried secrets.
Jules and Foster have been friends since their early teens, they know things about each other that binds them together and holds their friendship intact no matter what, but they have also been more- unfortunately that relationship was short lived and fell apart after a tragic accident left them heading in different directions, and each finding different ways to cope.
Foster Sutton has been living in regret the past two years, while he drowns his misery in booze and women he knows he can always count on one person to pick him up again, the one person he can't let out of his life, and the one and only person he wants more with but can't have- Jules Taylor. And Jules has always been there, even though each time she goes and drags Foster out of the gutter a part of her shatters- she still always goes- because he has no one else, and because it's Foster... and she loves him.
"I want to take away his pain- at least for a little while. But I've been trying to do that for the last two years and nothing changes. We never move forward. We never get back to that place we were before the accident. Before everything went to hell."
Jules is done this time though, she's tried and failed time and again. She can't continue on a friends with benefits dead end road with Foster and can't continue to be his crutch when he's down, so this summer she has vowed to forget Foster Sutton and move on with life, find love. She is taking an internship with a law firm and until that starts she is going to live up to her wild-child ways- let her hair down and enjoy being fun Jules until responsible lawyer Jules makes an official appearance. But it seems that no matter how much she tries to keep Foster out of her life fate seems to keep him firmly rooted there and the magic eight ball seem to also suck at keeping him out of her bed!
More is the companion novel to Before You Go, and even though this can be read as a stand alone, I found that it connected the missing pieces and unanswered questions that I had from Before You Go. If you haven't read BYG and are just picking up More don't worry Mrs. James does a wonderful job catching you up with the characters (Tabby and Noah) and events the occurred in the previous book and you're not missing anything crucial just getting a brief version of their background story. For those that have had the pleasure of reading Before You Go, we get a to see Tabby and Noah again, see how they're progressing, and also a deeper look into Foster and Noah's friendship. Although reading BYG first is not a prerequisite to enjoy More, having done so made the experience that much more fulfilling to me having previously established an intimate connection with the characters.
Foster and Jules are a hot mess, that broke my heart one minute had me laughing the next and I couldn't stop reading until their story concluded. Foster living in complete self loathing and blaming himself for not only the accident but living daily with the colossal mistake he made which seemed to result in a domino effect of a messed up two years. And Jules for just being in limbo and not really moving on from Foster but always just watching him deteriorate from the sidelines. However when forced together, and the walls that they have built to protect their friendship begin to come down and true feeling can no longer be hidden the chemistry and desire they have for each other ignites and is INSANE! And just in case you doubt me read the book and tell me its not after the bath scene....
UGH. Jenna. I wish I could write this review and not mention her but unfortunately I can't. Jenna... I know that I have hated characters in books before, but I'm not sure that I have ever detested one as much as I do Jenna. Who is she? Well for me in a nutshell she is the missing link between both books and now that I know what I didn't about her I hate her all the more. Other than the accident that resulted in the death of her brother, Jenna is the reason that that friendships have been destroyed and promises made. But wherever there is a wicked witch there is a princess and in this case that princess came in a pixie spitfire named Jules that decided she was going to take the high road, accept and start moving forward.
