A word-of-mouth bestseller that’s captivating readers with its honesty, grit, and headstrong heroine, White Trash Beautiful is a story for anyone who has ever felt trapped in life, cheated by love—and longed for something more . . .

Cass Daniels isn’t waiting for her knight in shining armor. She knows that girls like her don’t get a happily ever after. Not if you live in a trailer with your mom, work at a greasy spoon diner, and get leered at by old men. Maybe that’s why she puts up with Jackson—her poor excuse for a boyfriend, who treats her like dirt. Cass has learned to accept her lot in life. That is, until he walks into her diner. . . .

His name is Tucker White, and he’s different from any man Cass has ever known. Tall, tattooed, and bad-ass gorgeous, he’s the lead singer of the rock band Damaged. From the moment they meet, Tucker sees something in Cass he just can’t shake. Something beautiful. Something haunted. Something special. And he’s determined to find out what it is—if only he can get her to open up and let him in. . . .

★★★★★ TRAILER PARK FAIRYLAND STARS

HOLY HELL. White Trash Beautiful is fuckin' fantastic! I was going to start another book and save this review for later this week, but I can't. There is no possible way that I can get Cass and Tucker out of my head. I'm warped, completely and utterly in love with this book and have now added another MUST READ series....no more like TOP TBR that is anything White Trash related. Really I can't believe what this book did to me. From the very first page until the last I was completely and utterly absorbed. First, I had no clue what I was about to read all I was going by was the synopsis and with a title like White Trash Beautiful I just needed to know what it was about. WOW. What I got was a dark, gritty, and angst filled read with just enough bits of light, love, and hope to keep you turning page after page in hopes of a happily ever after.

Cass Daniels knows that there is more to the world than what her life consists of working a dead end job that pays next to nothing as a waitress at Aggie's Diner, living in a trailer park in a ratty old dirty trailer with her drug addicted mother and boyfriend Jackson. Sadly Cass has accepted long ago that this is her fate. Even so she isn't just going to cower and join the rest of the low life's that surround her so she's developed a hard outer shell and an attitude to match.

"I'm not naive. I know I don't get the happily ever after. My knight and shining armor took the highway detour around this godforsaken shit hole. I've made my peace with that. That doesn't mean I'm going to lie down like a doormat and let every cocky prick in the trailer park have his way with me"

This also goes for the scuzzy and degrading men that pull off the highway and make their way to Aggie's diner in hopes of picking up a lowly waitress for the night. She's seen it all heard it all and is not interested. So when Tucker White rode up on his motorcycle all tattooed bad assed and confident Cass did what she does best... gave him her best fuck you attitude. But for some reason Tucker saw something in Cass and was immediately up for the challenge.

"I'll have a beer sweetheart. Whatever you recommend."
"I glanced around the diner and back at him. I was sure he could read the Are you fucking kidding me? look on my face..."I'm not your sweetheart"
"Challenge accepted" He laughed.

Call it fate...call it karma but from the moment Tucker White stepped foot into Aggie's diner both of their lives changed, but was it for better or worse?

My heart broke for Cass, she was living in a world of nothingness, going home to her shitty trailer after work each night to her abusive, coma-toasted- dead -beat boyfriend Jackson and her just as wasted mother. The only thing she really has is memories of how things used to be before her father left and everything slowly went to shit, and a small amount of savings stashed away from the fiends in hopes of a better someday... But when the persistent guy that belongs nowhere near a diner like Aggie's keeps coming around, she decides what the hell...she has nothing so what does she really have to loose and before she knows it her world and mine right along side hers goes in for a tailspin of secrets and lies, deceit, and guilt. But can someone like Cass someone that had always been classified as trash even by the actual trash that lives around her ever really have a happily ever after.....especially with someone as put together as Tucker White?

"What had I done? I had run off with a guy who saw me as some sort of project. Maybe it was pity I saw in his eyes, not the sense of longing that surly reflected in mine. This is where I belonged. In this trailer...My fate had already been written, and some guy on a motorcycle was not going to swoop in and rescue me"

Tucker...I NEED MORE TUCKER! This character is the shit! Seriously he has something about him, maybe it's the fact that we only get little bits of Tucker throughout the story and never really the full picture or maybe it's the similar past the he shares with Cass or maybe it's just his persistence to be with her no matter the cost, but I just loved him! He sees something in Cass that she has been trying to hide and deny for years. He gets a taste of Jackson and knows the story of who he is to Cass but doesn't care. He takes her away and shows her a life outside the trailer park fence and shows her beauty, caring, passion, desire and hope.

"Sometimes you have to fall before you can fly...and sometimes you need someone to catch you...Even you, Cass"

But Tucker also has a story, a past, and now a future...a Rock Star future. And just how well does that go with falling for the broke and beaten down down waitress from the wrong side of the dirt road and tattered fence with nothing to offer other than baggage?

"As much as I knew there was something special between us, I was also sure there was a Cass in every city along his tour"

Tucker and Cass are not perfect they both drove me mad at times and I wanted to be able to shout at them both like REALLY WTF! Tucker for accepting the goodbye's so easily and Cass because she just kept going back. And then when it finally happens and Cass knows that she has to leave Jax and that life once and for all and then....dun dun dun....you'll have to read to find out but I felt a little like this... I knew it was going to happen, I predicted what was to come but it didn't make it any less dramatic and my heart was still beating a million miles a second.

It's also safe to say that up until the last pages, like I'm talking at 99% the last 3 min of the book I was sure this was ending on a cliffhanger, but we're spared a cliffy and the ending was bittersweet. It left me satisfied and sated for now, with a little peek of the light and hope at the end of the dark tunnel and I so badly want to see Cass and Tucker grab hold of it and get their happily ever after. Will it come? I sure hope so. Will it be in the next book? Hmmm it's hard to say but cliffhanger or no cliffhanger I can't wait to find out.

If you're looking for something that will keep you on the edge of your seat needing more the whole time, then this is the book for you. It's very well written, and I say that even though the format of the copy I had sucked. I was able to completely look past that focus on the writing itself and just keep reading (that's got to speak volumes) It's dark, raw, gritty and full of angst, but it's also so very moving and beautiful in a way that it so easily grips your heart and is surly to leave a lasting impression on your soul.
